Dr. Donald Buck II is a plastic surgeon and assistant professor in the division of plastic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine.
When talking about the symptoms of lipedema, Dr. Buck says, “You ultimately get this characteristic appearance of column- like legs.”
Other symptoms Dr. Buck mentioned are “significant pain”, and that patients experience tenderness, heaviness, and are prone to bruising.
